PRESIDENT'S CORNER

Believe it or not, spring is almost here and with spring comes many special events. If you have been with us for more than a year, you are well aware that Moore Security provides a phenomenal amount of extra coverage for Thunder over Louisville as well as Derby related events. Once again this year, we will be working with the Marine Corp Unit out of Ft. Knox for the majority of special event coverage. That is only a small portion of our requirement and we may be calling on many of our permanent Officers to assist with other standing posts. We know this causes great strains and we definitely appreciate your cooperation.

Moore Security is currently in the process of renewing the contract with one of our larger clients. In the negotiation process, the client made the comment that they have never seen the loyalty of Security Officers to a company as with Moore Security. That is probably the most valued compliment a company could ever receive. We realize that there are certain elements in this industry that we cannot overcome. No one ever makes enough nor has enough benefits. Knowing that, we have always tried to provide what we can and be the kind of employer that earns that kind of respect. I personally want to say thank you to the Officers that project that dedication and loyalty. Unfortunately, with our growth, I do not get the opportunity to meet as many Officers as I would like, but I can honestly say that I am extremely proud of the professionals I have met.

We always promote our new clients and the opportunities that they provide, but it is client retention that is the true mark of success. It is our existing clients who remain with Moore Security for years that are testimonial to the job you do. Our client retention rate is off the charts compared to national averages and with your continued dedication and loyalty, this will not change.

On a similar note, while meeting with a prospective client, he told us that he allowed us an opportunity based on an impromptu meeting he had with one of our Officers. He asked the Officer a few questions about Moore Security and was very impressed with his answers. The Officer portrayed a very positive image of Moore Security and now we have an opportunity of a new partner. Unfortunately, he did not know the Officer so we cannot give proper thanks, but please know that every day you are the best advertisement Moore Security could ever have.

As always, thank you again.

OFFICER OF THE MONTH
January's Officer of the Month went to Joseph Gudgeon. Joe has been with us since May of 2001. Joe does a great job at any post that we need him to work. Joe has a great attitude and is always cheerful and ready to serve when necessary. We appreciate Joe's dedication to his job as well as to Moore Security. We can always count on Joe to be there and to do it right. Thanks Joe.

OFFICER COMMENDATIONS
Stan,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and Moore Security for responding to our emergency needs concerning the high water on Utica Road. ALL the security guards did an excellent job. As of this date, I have not heard one complaint from the residents of Longview Beach area. I know this was hard on some of the guards as they worked a lot of extra hours, more than normal. However, they all stepped up to the plate and were more than willing to go the extra mile when necessary. I especially want to say how much I appreciate Butch Love and Jed Davis. Their help to me was immeasurable. Butch Love is doing a great job overseeing our Security at River Ridge. The Security guards we now have in place have caught on to being a team and approach their jobs in a very professional manor. Their respect for Butch is evident. Jed Davis is always ready to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Jed is my eyes and ears here at River Ridge and is very professional when it comes to his job. I appreciate his efforts and concern. We have good men doing a great job!
Thanks everyone for a job well done!!
Joe Bisinger, Property Manager
River Ridge Development Authority

Sara,
I am writing this note to inform you of some of the great employees we have at Moore Security.
On 2/18/05 I received a telephone call from Joe Douthitt regarding a possible emergency at the Trimble County Power Plant (The details were left out due to confidentiality). I called Sergeant LC Brewer at the Plant and had him recall all of the assigned Security Officers assigned to Trimble County.
In less than an hour, all security officers were on site and were deployed. I arrived approximately 30 minutes later with two Security Officers to help with the manning.
Fortunately the event turned out to be a non-event, but to mobilize, post, and brief, a guard force in this short of a time shows our Officers dedication to our Clients (LG&E) and to Moore Security. I would like to personally thank each of them for their quick response, dedication to our client and their willingness to keep LG&E personnel and property safe.
Below are listed the names of these exceptional Officers:
Capt. Karen Willis (Trimble County Power Plant Post Supervisor), Lt. Carolyn Moore (Trimble County Power Plant Shift Supervisor), Sgt LC Brewer (Trimble County Power Plant), Janice Smith (Trimble County Power Plant), Barbara Martindale (Trimble County Power Plant), Bob Godsey (Ghent Power Plant), Capt. Virginia Smith (Moore Security Field Supervisor), Maj. Lesa Wiseman (Moore Security Field Supervisor), Maj. David Powell (Moore Security Patrol Supervisor), Charles "Vince" Boehnlein (LG&E Flex Officer).

Respectfully,

Scott

SCHOOL SAFETY TIPS FOR PARENTS
Be sure your child knows His or her: home phone number (including area code) and address, your work number, the number of another trusted adult, and how to use 911 for emergencies.
Make sure your child has enough change to make a phone call or they carry a telephone calling card.
Plan a walking route to school or the bus stop. Choose the most direct way with the fewest street crossings and use intersections with crossing guards. Test the route with your child. Tell him or her to stay away from parks, vacant lots, fields, and other places where there aren't many people around.
Teach children -- whether walking, biking, or riding the bus to school -- to obey all traffic signals, signs, traffic officers, and safety patrols. Remind them to be extra careful in rainy, foggy, or snowy weather.
Make sure they walk to and from school with others -- a friend, neighbor, brother, sister.
When car pooling, drop off and pick up children as close to school as possible. Don't leave until they have entered the school yard or building.
Teach your child never to talk to strangers or accept rides or gifts from strangers. Remember, a stranger is anyone you or your children doesn't know well or doesn't trust. If your child is home alone for a few hours after school:
Set up rules for locking doors and windows, answering the door or
telephone. Make sure he or she checks in with you or a neighbor immediately after school. Agree on rules for inviting friends over and for going to a friend's house when no adult is home.
Take time to listen carefully to children's fears and feelings about people or places that scare them or make them feel uneasy. Tell them to trust their instincts. Take complaints about bullies and other concerns seriously.
